Our construction division is sustained by its Estimating Department, housed in our Hanover office. We utilize current technologies with earthwork, and estimating programs such as InSite and HCSS. Our construction division is equipped to perform accurate takeoff and pricing on virtually any size project, from small house lots, to major highways.

At P.A. Landers, our capacities are almost limitless with respect to roadway, utility, site construction, and streetscaping beautification projects. We are prequalified through several government sources. We have the necessary certifications, bonding, and insurance capacity to handle almost any project, whether public or private.

The construction division maintains a healthy, consistent workforce through its Safety Department. We have a full-time Safety Director on staff, who administers the latest safety regulations, and programs such as apprenticeship training, and O.S.H.A. seminars. All construction personnel are certified with a minimum of 10 – Hour O.S.H.A. safety training.
Our work can encompass everything from the initial stages of treeclearing, through site utilities, grading, paving, walkways and seeding. Nevertheless, we can be just as attentive to the individual needs of the homeowner, with sewer and water line connections, septic system repairs, grading, and other maintenance services.
These operations are performed with our large fleet of construction equipment, with many types and sizes of backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, gradalls, loaders, compactors, and even skid – steer equipment for confined areas. Construction work is further supported through our large fleet of trucks, which help maintain project deliveries, and help us undertake significant earth removal projects.
Our client base varies from the individual homeowner, to retail giants like Home Depot, Target and Wal-Mart, municipalities such as the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), and local municipalities.
