Highway Projects

    Roadway Reconstruction along Sections of Route 14

    Pembroke, MA

     

Owner: Mass. Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT)

2016 – 2018


    • $ 9 Million project to reconstruct and resurface over ( 3 ) miles of roadway

    • Work involved significant Roadway Excavation, Drainage and Water Line work, Pavement Milling, Paving, Curbing, Stone Retaining Walls, Guardrail, Sidewalks, Electrical Relocations, Pavement Striping, Signs, Trees and Landscaping

    • Culvert and Headwall construction in environmentally – sensitive areas was required.

    • The Town of Pembroke, MA, in cooperation with MassDOT, contracted us to perform additional work in the replacement of many Water Services throughout the project.

Roadway Reconstruction and Related Work (including Signals) along a Section of Route 18 (JFK Highway)

New Bedford, MA

Owner: Mass. Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT)

2017 – 2019

 

    • $ 9.6 Million project to reconstruct and resurface Rte. 18 in downtown New Bedford, MA.
  •  
    • Work involved significant Roadway Excavation, Drainage and Water Line work, Pavement Milling, Paving, Curbing, Fencing, Sidewalks, Ornamental Street Lighting, Pavement Striping, Signs, Trees and Landscaping.
  •  
    • The project required the installation and reconstruction of Traffic Signals at (7) Intersections.
  •  
    • Stamped and Colored Concrete Crosswalks and Medians were installed as part of Roadway Beautification.
  •  
    • MassDOT, in cooperation with the City of New Bedford, contracted us to perform additional work to demolish and remove an existing Pedestrian Bridge over Rte. 18.

    Roadway Reconstruction and Related Work (including Signals) along a Section of Route 6 & 28 (Cranberry Highway)

    Wareham, MA


Owner: Mass. Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT)

2019 –

 

    • $ 17.3 Million project to reconstruct and resurface Rte. 6 & 28 in the shopping district of Wareham, MA. 
  •  
    •  Work involves significant Roadway Excavation, Drainage Water Line replacement, Pavement Milling, Paving, Curbing, Fencing & GuardraIL, Sidewalks, Ornamental Street Lighting, Pavement Striping, Signs, Trees and Landscaping.
  •  
    • The project includes the installation and reconstruction of Traffic Signals at (4) Intersections.
  •  
    • Several Stormwater Wetland Basins are to be constructed in environmentally – sensitive areas to alleviate past flooding issues.
  •  
    • Retaining Walls of different heights and types are to be built within the project.

Streetscape Projects

Owner: Town of Plymouth, MA

2014 – 2018


    • These Projects, valued at $ 6.5 Million, were performed concurrently for the Town of Plymouth, MA.
    • Roadway Construction included Excavation, Drainage and Water Line work, Paving, Curbing, Sidewalks, Pavement Striping, Signs, Trees and Landscaping.

    • Streetscape work included Ornamental Street Lighting & Bollards, Granite & Stone – Veneer Walls, Exposed – Aggregate Concrete Walks, Stone Paths & Paving, Decorative Brick and Concrete Pavers, Granite & Bluestone surfaces, Benches, Trash Receptacles, Bike Racks and Kiosks.
    • The Water Street Promenade included the special construction of a Pre-Fabricated Wooden Footbridge at Brewster Gardens over the Town Brook.
    • The Water Street Roundabout included a special, 8 – point Stone Compass Insert and Granite Rubble Block circle.

Earth Removal Projects

    1999 – 2000

    New Sewage Treatment Plant

Owner: Town of Plymouth, MA

 

    • Earth Removal of approx.. 325,000 CY of fill and gravel for the construction of the new sewage treatment plant.

    2001 – 2008

    Hingham Street Reservoir Expansion

 

Rockland, MA

Owner: Abington – Rockland Joint Water Works

 

    • Earth Removal of approx. 1,000,000 CY of combined Earth and Ledge materials for increased Reservoir capacity.

    2001 – 2003

    Earth Removal for Colony Place Retail Complex

 

 Plymouth, MA

 Owner: Saxon Partners

 

    • Earth Removal of approx. 3,000,000 CY for the retail development of Colony Place.

    Phase I – 2019

    Phase II – 2020

    Earth Removal for Proposed Warehouse Development

 

      Off Prestige Way – Plymouth/Kingston, MA

    • Phase I Earth Removal of approx. 170,000 CY for Warehouse development.
